Subhadip is a versatile in his writing.Through his professional career he has written numerous articles that has cast a social impact about information his drive and passion for searching history. After completing higher secondary education at Ballygunge Rashtriya Vidyalaya, he pursued his graduation at Scottish Church College and obtained a postgraduate degree from Vidyasagar University. He then carried out research at the West Bengal State Archaeological Research Centre. After serving for a long time as a journalist, he authored numerous research papers. Alongside, by the grace of his Guru Acharya, he advanced on the path of Tantra and established the Baglamukhi Matri Mission. He dedicated himself completely to social service, moving forward with the vow that ‘Service is the highest religion.

Durga Puja 2022: ১৬০০ সাল থেকেই হালিশহরে দোলমঞ্চের পশ্চিম দিকে একটি আটচালা নির্মাণ করে সেখানেই সপরিবার দুর্গার পুজো শুরু করেছিল এই পরিবার। তারপর সেই পুজো বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়ায় ১৬১০ সাল থেকে বড়িশার কাছারিবাড়িতে আটচালার চণ্ডীমণ্ডপ নির্মাণ করে দুর্গাপুজোর প্রচলন করেন লক্ষ্মীকান্ত গঙ্গোপাধ্যায়।

Pandal-hoppers this year can make a trip to the old aristocratic houses, the original hosts of Durga Puja, where the celebrations go back to over 250 years. Each of them has a history, that’s now a part of the city as much as that of the puja itself, according to young historian, Subhadip Roy Chowdhury, a member of the Sabarna Roy Chowdhury family. The family’s Durga Puja is 412 years old and officially the oldest one in Kolkata.
